Food, fun, and free admission? Sounds like a great deal for New Yorkers and their families!

As one of the oldest and largest street festivals in the city, the Atlantic Antic Festival promises to take over 10 blocks of Brooklyn, including Atlantic Avenue, with food vendors, performances and much more.

The public is invited to come join the fun for the 43th annual festival on Sunday, September 24, starting at noon. Often referred to as the mac daddy of street fairs, Atlantic Antic guarantees a fantastic afternoon of eating, shopping, and enjoying stellar entertainment. One of the most interesting sights may be the Chef One Dumpling Eat Contest, where hungry dumpling-lovers will be put to the test of how many they can eat within two minutes flat. There’s a $20 registration fees for those who want to participate, but a free t-shirt is included. Register for the contest here. The first place winner receives a sweet prize of $2,000, while second place earns $1,000 and third place gets $500.

Admission for Atlantic Antic is free, and the festival will run from noon on Sunday to 6 p.m., rain or shine.
