New Show Tells Life Story of Johnny Cash

For fans of theater, country music or both, there is still the chance to catch Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash at the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix.

Inspired by the iconic songbook of the musical legend, this musical highlights themes such as love and faith, home and family, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption. Produced by Arizona Theatre Company, the show will run through Sunday, April 16.

His remarkable life story is told through his memorable music. Audiences will be thrilled with the multi-talented cast that perform 38 classic Cash hits, including “I Walk The Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” and the title tune.

Tickets are still available for upcoming showtimes on Saturday, April 8, at 2pm and 8 pm,  Sunday, April 9, at 1pm and 6 pm, Wednesday, April 12, at 7:30pm, Thursday, April 13, at 2pm and 7:30 pm, Friday, April 14, at 8pm, Saturday April 15, at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sunday, April 16 at 1 pm.
