An exciting new opportunity is available creative artists in Phoenix and Mexico!
CALA Alliance, an organization that stands for Celebración Artística de las Americas, is launching a unique new program with the support of the ASU Art Museum and Programa Anual de Open Studios in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The new program was recently announced and is called GDL > PHX Residencias Artísticas, an international artist residency and cultural exchange program between the cities of Phoenix, Arizona and Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
In summer 2017, this program will offer fully sponsored residencies to artists from Guadalajara to travel and work in Phoenix, Arizona, and to Latino artists from Phoenix to travel and work in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
This exciting new opportunity will allow Phoenix Latino artists to expand their creativity, experiment with new approaches, and investigate complex cultural contexts. They will live and work at Museo Taller Casa Orozco in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
