Buses will leave daily from Phoenix to popular destinations in Southern California like Los Angeles, San Diego and Palm Springs. FlixBus will also offer services between Phoenix and Las Vegas, as well as Arizona-wide trips with stops in Kingman, Flagstaff, Wickenburg and Tucson.
The company kicked off Arizona operations at the end of last month, and travelers can now book their trips online or using an app. There is WiFi and power outlets on each trip.
The fares are very affordable right now, with $1 fares to Las Vegas as part of their initial launch. Trips will cost between $10-$15 each way, with a $2 service fee. Trips between Phoenix and San Diego, Flagstaff and Tucson will begin at $10, while Service to Los Angeles will be $15.
The company says that as demand increases, so will ticket prices. Passengers should know that while some routes are direct, others have a stop with a bus transfer. Some layovers may be longer than an hour.
FlixBus is in charge of the booking, marketing and customer service, but the company’s regional partners will actually handle the travel routes. According to a news release, these partners include American Explorer Motorcoach, Arrow Stage Lines, USA Coach Services, Gray Line Arizona, Pacific Coachways and Transportation Charter Services.
Last month, MegaBus also announced it would offer a daily service between Phoenix and Las Vegas with fares beginning at $1.
