New Book Features Midcentury Architecture of the East Valley

Recently published, “And TiKo-Tu:  the Midcentury Architecture of Greater Phoenix’ East Valley” profiles buildings, signs, places and spaces built approximately between 1945 and 1975 in Tempe/ASU, Mesa, Chandler and beyond, as well as architects and styles.

A presentation and book signing by the authors is scheduled for December 3rd, 7 PM, at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe.  With a foreward by Grady Gammage, Jr., the book is currently available for sale at Changing Hands, the Tempe History Museum, the American Institute of Architects office in downtown Phoenix and the Bullion Plaza Museum in Miami.
