Mortimer Farms Hosts Friday Night Barn Dance

Looking for a way to liven up your Friday nights? Head to Mortimer Farms in Dewey for a weekly tradition: the Barn Dance!

From 6 to 10 pm, our barn will come alive with country music and boot scootin’ boogie! According to the official website of Mortimer Farms, “the weather is perfect, the real country music is amazing, the dancing is fun, the Farm meal is wonderful, the backdrop is to die for, and the evening is one of the best in town!”

Another bonus? Rhythm n’ Boots, a group of Nationally Certified Country Western Dance Association dancers, will be moving to the rhythm on the dance floor. All ages are welcome to come on out and enjoy a memorable good time. Tickets are only $20 per person and include a delicious, farm fresh dinner, fun show and plenty of dancing. If you want just the dance, tickets are $10 apiece.

Guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine to the Barn Dance if they wish. Mortimer Farms is located at 12907 E. State Route 169 Dewey, AZ 86327.

I am a multimedia journalist and proud graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication. I am originally from Minnesota, and I love learning about my second home, Arizona, and all of it's awesome communities through my contributions to My Local News! When I was a little girl, I created my own "newspaper" for my neighborhood and spent all my time writing, printing and sending each edition to my loyal subscribers (AKA my family and neighbors!). Now, it's a dream come true to be able to write everyday and have a positive impact on communities through my reporting. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, cook and spend time with my family and friends.
