Authorities in Pima County shared some good news earlier today – a missing teenager has returned home, safe and sound.
15-year-old Maliyah Gomez was reported missing on Tuesday when she didn’t return home from school. She had been last seen at Desert View High School near Alvernon and Valencia at 1:30 in the afternoon.
The Tucson Police Department appealed to the public for help finding the girl, who functions at a much younger age. Thankfully, she walked up to her home on her own hours later.
