Watch as the stage is transformed into a 1940s radio studio, where Live Theatre Workshop puts its stamp on this classic story through dozens of character voices and live Foley sound effects. You’ll be reintroduced to Kris Kringle, the charming Macy’s mascot put on trial for claiming to be the real Santa Claus.
It’s time, once again, for the holiday season. Time to relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends, share in fond memories and believe in miracles…of course, first you need to finish that never-ending Christmas list, navigate the crowded stores for your last minute shopping, pull together your favorite holiday recipes, send out those Christmas cards, and the list of to-do’s go on and on.
Yes, it’s back! Christmas (insert dramatic music here)! With everything that goes into this wonderful, but very busy time of year, it’s nice to take a break from all the hustle and bustle to enjoy some live holiday entertainment. The story of Miracle on 34th Street will give you a chance to take a breath from the holiday madness as we laugh, cry, feel nostalgic, root for the good guy to win and remember to hold dear all the joy that makes us love this time of year so much.
Miracle on 34th Street will be going on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Starting at 3:00 PM. Tickets costs $20/$18. Located at the Live Theatre Workshop – 5317 E Speedway Blvd. For more information contact 327-4242. Information from https://www.livetheatreworkshop.org.
