Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood? Or that approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day to save lives? There is no better way to kick off the New Year than by giving the gift of life!
You can make a difference by donating blood at the Town of Queen Creek’s blood drive on Thursday, January 12. From noon to 5 pm, the United Blood Services’ bloodmobile will be at Queen Creek Town Hall, 22350 S. Ellsworth Road, making it convenient and simple for those who want to donate.
PLease keep in mind that appointments are required and can be made online at BloodHero.com using QueenCreek as the sponsor code. To speed the process up, donors can feel free to complete the Health History Questionnaire online prior to their appointment.
Courtesy of the Thunderbirds, all donors will receive a voucher for a free general admission ticket to the Waste Management Phoenix Open. These vouchers must be redeemed online by Friday, January 20, and will not be accepted at the tournament.
