Magical night in Bisbee

Magical night in Bisbee

My sister and her husband were visiting me in Tucson. We headed to Bisbee to see the sights and took the ghost tour that begins near the Copper Queen Hotel. Walking through the streets with our guide, we had a different view of Bisbee by night and learned a lot of the history along the way. Are there really haunted places? I don’t know. But it was fun to see the different places and to hear the stories. The Copper Queen was all decked out for the holiday season so it was even more magnificent than usual. My family enjoyed their visit, and I got to see another side of Bisbee. I still return periodically. The last time I was there was a couple of years ago for the stairs race. Once again, I got to see another side of Bisbee that I had not seen before. A local historian did a talk last year about the similarities between Bisbee and Venice, Italy, and when you think about it, it makes sense. The winding roads of Bisbee are very similar to the canals of Venice with the exception of no water. But the idea is the same. Bisbee is such a great place to visit and explore. I wonder what other adventures await?
