Lunch with a Mission to Benefit Tempe Mission Campaign

Join Wildflower Bread Company, Hackett House and the Downtown Tempe Authority for Lunch with a Mission to benefit the DTA’s Tempe Mission Campaign, an effort to have a positive impact on the homeless individuals that reside in downtown Tempe.

The Tempe Mission Campaign aims to raise money, collect needed items, mobilize volunteers and raise awareness. The financial goal is to raise $100,000 between July 2016 and June 2017 that will be directed to social service agencies that aid those in need in Downtown Tempe, including Salvation Army, Care 7, Community Bridges and I-HELP. Funds will be raised through donations, special programs, fundraising events (such as lunch with a Mission), matching grants and the Mission Meters. In addition, DTA collects donation items all year long and organizes regular volunteer opportunities to add capacity to these same agencies.

Lunch with a Mission will take place daily between January 30th and February 3rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hackett House, located at 95 W. 4th Street in downtown Tempe. Diners may enjoy their choice of Wildflower Bread Company soup in a bread boule, salad, drink and a cookie. A $10 donation is suggested, but more is greatly appreciated (and it’s good karma too!).
