Bisbee’s Premier Chamber Music Series, For the Love of Music, will host it’s next concert during the first weekend of November, featuring cultural music and instrumentals.
Qais Essar will present Rahab and tabla, traditional Afghan instrumentation, on Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6. This will be the perfect opportunity to expand your musical horizons and experience musical traditions from other parts of the world. Essar’s music is a tribute to his war-torn homeland, making his work especially compelling. The Rahab is an Afghan lute instrument that dates back 2500 years and is made from the prized mulberry trees native to Afghanistan.
