Tempe, Ariz., Sept. 22, 2016 – In conjunction with the annual Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, this coming Sunday (Sept. 25) at 11:00am, AZ R.E.S.C.U.E. (www.azrescue.org) will be on the campus of The Church of the Epiphany – Tempe (www.epiphany-tempe.org) with adoptable dogs that have been rescued from the euthanasia list of our extremely overburdened Animal Care & Control Services.
These dogs were literally hours away from their death when AZ RESCUE offered them a second chance at life. AZ RESCUE has a “no-kill” policy and keeps their dogs and cats until they find a loving, permanent home. AZ RESCUE is a registered-non-profit and the majority of its animals reside in volunteer Foster Homes, and the remaining rescues are placed in leased boarding facilities until they can be adopted.
Since this is an outside event, unfortunately no cats will be available for adoption this day. However, you are welcome to view available cats online prior to or during the event and speak with a RESCUE volunteer about “meeting” their felines for a possible adoption!
The Church of the Epiphany – Tempe is located at 2222 South Price Road, on the corner of E. Concorda Dr. and southbound Price Road. Visit www.epiphany-tempe.org for more information.
