Twenty local auto dealerships are participating in an annual campaign that makes a big difference.
Recycle Your Bicycle is part of the AZ Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents, and every year, the program positively impacts local foster care children. They collect used bikes and refurbish them before delivering them to these children in need. This puts a huge smile on this kids’ faces, many of whom have never had their own bicycle before.
The community is encouraged to donate any old bikes collecting dust in the back of the garage or storage shed. New bikes are also accepted and greatly appreciated!
One of the sponsors of this campaign, Earnhardt Auto Centers, have organized twenty drop off locations at their local dealerships, where the public can drop their bikes off and make a difference. All donations come with a receipt, which can be used for the Foster Care Charitable Organization Tax Credit.
