The Bird City Comedy Festival is returning for it’s second year, and downtown Phoenix is about to get a whole lot more funny!
Phoenicians can expect four fun-filled days of laughter, comedy and entertainment, with many local venues hosting special events as part of the festival. The festival runs from April 6 to April 9, and in addition to the Mister Chris’s Apartment Show at Stand Up Live, Lawn Gnome Publishing will also support the festival by hosting the official open mic.
Lawn Gnome is an independent publishing house, poetry venue and used bookstore that often hosts events for the Roosevelt Row community. On Sunday, April 9, Lawn Gnome will host the Little Bird Comedy Showcase, the perfect end to a hilarious weekend! Come check out talented poets and artists who have humor on their minds, and you never know who may drop in! A few select performers from this showcase will be awarded spots in upcoming festival shows.
