Women of Power International, the Mesa-based organization that strives to help young women and mothers in need, is hosting it’s 10th annual Labor of Love Community Baby Shower.

On Saturday, September 3rd, women from throughout the valley are invited to participate in the free event, designed to help new and expectant mothers with the planning and preparation for a child. There will be a trade show, seminars, games, food and a whole lot of fun!

Women of Power International wants to help new and expectant mothers get through tough times, including job losses, foreclosures and financial difficulties. They want to make sure all mothers and babies have what they need, regardless of income or personal struggles. The organization works to help women advance their education and job skills while building self-esteem and developing independence. Mothers can expect to receive information about helpful resources as well as baby products for their newborns.
