Help your incoming kindergartner prep for their first school experience at Peoria Unified’s Kinder Camp. Alongside a certified early childhood teacher, students will review basic curriculum such as rhyming, writing, numbers, early reading skills as well as opportunities to explore the library, cafeteria and playground. Students will receive daily snacks and socialize with other students in order to help alleviate any first day of school anxieties.
Kinder Camp will be held July 24-27 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the following elementary schools: Coyote Hills, Frontier, Foothills, Oakwood, Marshall Ranch, and Vistancia. Students are welcome to attend at any location regardless of which Peoria Unified school they will attend in the fall. Registration begins on April 24 and ends on July 17 and the cost is $60 per student. Space is limited on each campus. To register, contact Kelli Johnson at [email protected] or call the Preschool Office at (623) 773-6675. Please make sure that your child is registered at any Peoria Unified elementary school before enrolling them in Kinder Camp.
