Keys to Car Seat Safety Event Returns to Tucson

2nd Annual Keys to Car Seat Safety

SAT, SEP 17, 2016 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Next Saturday morning, September 17th, Tucson parents and child caregivers are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Keys to Car Seat Safety event. September is National Child Passenger Safety Month, and this campaign is a joint effort with local first responders in the Tucson area and Safe Kids Pima County. Free car seat safety checks will be available to Tucson families during the event.
From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m, car seats and child booster seats will be checked for proper installation and informational safety materials will be offered to attendees with tips on how to maintain a properly installed car seat. Seats will be checked on a first come, first served basis. Visitors to the events will be treated to a family-friendly affair, and light refreshments and water will be provided.
Larry H. Miller Charities will donate $2,500 to Safe Kids Pima County to purchase car seats for families in need.
According to Safe Kids Worldwide, nearly 73 percent of all car seats are installed incorrectly and motor vehicle injuries are the leading cause of death among children in the United States.
Stop by the Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson location for your free car seat safety check.
Address: 4220 E. 22nd Street Tucson, AZ 85711
