Justin Bieber to Enroll in ASU Political Science Department

Justin Bieber to Enroll in ASU Political Science Department

(Originally published April 1,2016 for April Fools Day)  Phoenix, Arizona |  Justin Bieber played to a sold out crowd in at the Gila River Arena this Wednesday the 30th of March. He wore a Max Domi Coyotes jersey during the concert. However it is the back stage theatrics that garnered the most speculation and rumor.  Originally from Canada it has been said that Bieber has a keen interest in American Politics and especially it’s health system which he feels is lacking.

Those close to Bieber feel that his enrollment at Arizona State University will go a long way to offsetting his “teen heart throb image. He is profiled often in teen magazines such as Tiger Beat.  One fan said that “I really think if takes his education seriously he could be President some day.”  It should be noted that unlike presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, Bieber really is Canadian and thus is constitutionally prohibited from running for President. I spoke with some top level DC political consultants, who wished to remain anonymous, and was told that the Bieber Fan Club just might have enough influence on Capital Hill to pass a Constitutional Amendment Exception.

Bieber is not without controversy and has had run ins with the law. According to Wikipedia he  was arrested on January 23, 2014 in Miami Beach, Florida together with singer Khalil on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), driving with an over six month expired license, and resisting arrest without violence.  Police said that Bieber told authorities he had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana, and taken prescription drugs.  Following his arrest 270,000 persons petitioned the White House seeking to have Bieber deported from the United States.

Bieber’s campaign manger, Scooter Braun and The ASU Political Science Department could not be reached for comment.
