Join the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication for an exciting event on Monday evening.
As part of the Cronkite School’s “Must See Mondays” lecture series, the former president of CBS News and principal of Heyward Advisory will visit on Monday and speak to students and the community. Andrew Heyward will discuss his experience in the field, the evolution of journalism and video storytelling, highlighting how the industry went from “60 Minutes” to Snapchat.
This discussion will allow students to ask questions and learn from a key media industry executive. Non-journalism majors and the public are all invited and encouraged to attend. The “Must See Mondays” series has included numerous Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters, editors of major newspapers and news outlets, national television correspondents, entrepreneurs, journalism innovators and public relations specialists.
The event will be held in the First Amendment Forum of the Cronkite School (555 N. Central Ave.) in downtown Phoenix. It will begin at 7 pm and guests should come early to reserve a good spot. For more information, please visit the official event page.
