Inauguration Day Teach-In Planned at Northern Arizona University

Donald Trump will take his oath and officially become the 45th President of the United States on Friday, January 20th. On this historic day, the Flagstaff community is invited to join students and faculty at the Northern Arizona University Student Union for presentations and discussions.

The Understanding This Moment: An Inauguration Day Teach-In activities will take place in the Union Havasupai rooms A and B from 2 to 6 pm on Friday afternoon. The event is presented by the College of Arts and Letters Department of Comparative Cultural Studies.

The afternoon agenda includes presentations and discussions on topics such as climate change, civil rights, foreign and domestic polices, the border and proposed border wall, women and LGBTQ futures, religious tolerance and much more.
