That’s what United Food Bank is hoping will happen this holiday season as they kick off their annual turkey drive for families in need throughout the East Valley and eastern Arizona.
When you shop for your Thanksgiving turkey, consider picking up an extra bird to donate. Turkeys and donations will be collected at United Food Bank’s Javelina Volunteer Annex at 358 E. Javelina in Mesa (just south of U.S. 60 and Mesa Drive) on the following dates and times:
November 19 – 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
November 21 – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
November 22 – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
November 23 – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The turkeys will be distributed to people in need throughout the holidays through United Food Bank’s more than 200 community partners who serve 275,000 Arizonans in need.
