
The victim in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash has died more than a week after the incident.
Tucson Police say 62-year-old Rose Davila succumbed to her injures on Sunday, May 6. She was hit by an unidentified driver at about 6 p.m. on April 27.
Davila was not in a crosswalk as she walked across East Speedway Boulevard, east of North Sarnoff Drive.
According to police, they are still searching for the driver of the four-door sedan that hit her and didn’t stop. The vehicle continued traveling east on Speedway.
Anyone with any information about the driver and the car involved in the incident is asked to please call 88-CRIME. There are options to remain anonymous.
