At first this question seems rather vague.  Where in far north Phoenix are we talking about?  I am speaking of the areas north of Deer Valley.  This would include the Happy Valley, Norterra, Sonoran Foothills, etc.; including in and around Anthem.  I have done some light exploring in those general areas and they are beautiful.  It is filled with spacious homes and yards, new shopping areas, parks, commercial and office buildings and everything.  Most appealing of all is the vast desert landscape that still surrounds these parts of north Phoenix.

Some people may be adverse to living up there due to their prospective commutes to and from their jobs.  However, there are more positive reasons to purchase a new home in these areas.  Namely the serene, tranquil atmosphere that fills the region.  There are still fewer residents here so the traffic is lighter.  Gone is the hustle and bustle of the metro Phoenix area.  You can enjoy a quiet day or evening just hanging out with your neighbors or loved ones, breathing in the much more fresh air.

So, what is the housing market actually like in far north Phoenix?  Of course it varies, depending upon the size of the property and the home on it.  You can expect to get a nicely valued home and plenty of space for in the mid-hundreds range.  Typically these range from around $300,000+/- to the low $500,000s. 

This could be your opportunity to own your dream home in your own little slice of paradise.  You will not find a more beautiful place to live than the wide open desert lined neighborhoods in the far reaches of north Phoenix.  If you do not believe this, take a ride up there.  You will definitely find yourself wanting to live there.
