Around four or five years ago I tried to recruit a very well accomplished reporter with the Arizona Republic, who served with me on the Tempe Leadership Board of Directors. Let’s just say that My Local News was a minno compared to the whale in AZ media and my efforts fell flat; or at least I thought so at the time. A couple of years back Nancy Puffer called me out of the blue and my mouth dropped as she told me that she wanted to jump into the deep end of the pool with regard to MLN.
Our motto is “Real News – Real Local”. As our Executive Editor Nancy, keeps us true to our roots. Along the way she is there to help anyone who wants to participate in our Community Journalism project. Nancy also has written many amazing articles and I encourage you to read some of them on our Editor’s Pic.
