Elements Massage®, one of the nation’s leading therapeutic massage franchises, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest individually owned and operated Arizona studio, Mesa-Gateway located at 5221 S. Power Rd. (Gateway Airport Crossing Shopping Plaza) in Mesa on Saturday, June 10.
To commemorate the studio’s opening, 20 grand opening guests can win a gift card for a FREE one-hour massage session (to be redeemed at a later date). Guests are invited to visit the new Elements Massage studio from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 10 in order to be entered for a chance to win a free massage. No purchase is necessary. The 20 winners will be pulled at 5:30 p.m. and notified by email no later than 10 p.m.
The Mesa-Gateway studio will be operated by local franchise owners Carolyn and Melanie Thierjung-Laing, who are Mesa residents. Carolyn began her career working as a massage therapist at many well-known luxury resorts in Colorado, California, and Arizona. Melanie started her professional career in the United States Army, a veteran of 11 years. With backgrounds in massage therapy, sales and business management, Carolyn and Melanie knew they wanted to own their own business, and getting back into the massage industry was exactly what they wanted to do!
“Being a massage therapist has always been my first love, so when the opportunity to own an Elements Massage franchise became possible Melanie and I jumped at the chance,” said franchise owner Carolyn Thierjung-Laing. “After many years of supporting Melanie throughout her professional career, she was the one who encouraged me to re-discover my passion of massage. Without her, we wouldn’t be here.”
The new Elements Massage studio will be open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The studio will employ approximately 15 massage therapists and a few remaining positions are still available. Qualified applicants can visit the studio or call 480.508.4360 for additional hiring information.
The inviting and tranquil atmosphere of the studio reflects the brand’s dedication to providing a therapeutic and personalized client experience. Available services include traditional offerings such as deep tissue, Swedish and hot stone massage, as well as innovative therapies such as Himalayan salt stone massage that helps stimulate circulation, improve sleep, reduce inflammation and improve one’s overall sense of well-being.
“We look forward to welcoming the community surrounding Mesa-Gateway to our new studio and introducing our neighbors to all of the physical and mental wellness benefits that the Elements customized massage experience has to offer,” said Melanie Thierjung-Laing. “We want to positively contribute to the community while establishing personal connections with our clientele in order to deliver the best massage.”
