Gilbert, Ariz. – Gilbert residents and businesses are invited to learn more and discuss the Lindsay Road

and 202 Santan Freeway traffic interchange recommendations at an open house on Wednesday, June 14^th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road, Gilbert, AZ 85234.

As the Gilbert community and East Valley continue to grow, a traffic interchange at Lindsay Road would provide additional access for drivers and would ease congestion to Gilbert’s Central Business District, residential areas and the surrounding transportation system.

Gilbert, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has developed a Design Concept Report to assess and define the nature of the proposed improvements. The findings of this report, including interchange recommendations, will be presented and discussed at the open house on Wednesday, June 14^th. Community input on the recommendations will be accepted at the meeting, as well as on the website or via the project hotline until July 14, 2017.
