
Free Community Event, Demonstrations and Educational Resources
Who: Any Caregivers in Arizona
What: A day for caregivers, who are typically unpaid for their service, to learn about community resources that will simplify their daily lives while providing them the opportunity to put themselves first for an afternoon. Come enjoy educational seminars, massages, demonstrations and get community resources to help make your job as a caregiver easier.
Where: FSL Caregiver House, located at 1201 E Thomas Road in Phoenix.
Why: In honor of National Family Caregiver Month, FSL is hosting our 3rd Annual Family Caregiver Open House on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day!
When: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Did you know? Few people identify themselves as family caregivers, yet in Arizona alone 855,000 family caregivers provide care at an estimated value of $9 billion annually. Family caregivers accept their roles gladly but are generally unprepared for the financial and personal stresses they assume.
