Former UA Basketball Star Signs Endorsement Deal

A former star basketball player at University of Arizona seems to have a promising career ahead of him, considering he’s just secured his first big endorsement.

With the 2018 NBA Draft just days away, Deandre Ayton has announced his signing with PUMA, a popular athletic brand that will use him for their new Basketball brand. The details of the deal have not yet been revealed, but multiple sources say it is a four-year agreement.

Ayton is joined in the deal by Marvin Bagley III from Duke University. The two were teammates in high school during the 2015-16 season, when both wore uniforms for Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix. The majority of sports analysts are picking the duo as the first and second overall picks in the draft, set for Thursday.

Along with this announcement, PUMA confirmed that rapper Jay-Z will be at the helm of the PUMA Basketball Brand. For more information, please visit the official website here.
