Bubble Palooza was a big hit not only with Flagstaff Families, but also with the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association, which recently presented the event with an Award of Excellence.

The City of Flagstaff’s Park and Recreation Department Bubble Palooza won the 2017 Outstanding Program Award for a Community/Neighborhood Special Event, population size 25,001-100,000.

The family-friendly event was held in Foxglenn Park on May 6 in celebration of International Bubble Blowing Day. Attendees took part in everything from bubble-blowing contests to making bubble bath balls and they even had the chance to experience a turn inside a giant bubble.
