Mark your calendars for Flagstaff Open Studios at the end of August!
Join fellow artists, imaginative thinkers and art enthusiasts for a weekend of fun and creativity! From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, the streets of Flagstaff will be bustling with activity as local artists interact with the community.
Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, Flagstaff Open Studios will include 25 locations this year. This is a self-guided event that gives the public unique access to the artists they admire, with the finest Flagstaff artists opening up their personal studio environment to visitors. This allows the community to observe the act of creating artwork, and in addition to seeing ideas come to life through a variety of mediums, people will also have the chance to purchase pieces directly from the artists.
This year’s event features a little bit of everything, including painters, photographers, fiber artists, ceramic, glass, jewelry and much more, spanning the entire spectrum of artistic creation.
