A Flagstaff family is celebrating after one of their own was accepted into the exclusive Harvard Graduate School of Education program. 

Erika Hubbard, who graduated from Northland Preparatory Academy in 2008, will pursue a Master’s Degree of Education, specializing in Child Psychology.

Erika is a proud Wildcat, graduating from University of Arizona  in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish.

After graduation, Erika made a two-year commitment  to Teach for America in San Antonio, Texas, where she taught fifth grade at an under-served inner-city school. She then moved to Austin, Texas, where she spent three years teaching 3rd and 4th grades.

She will start her studies in Massachusetts this fall.
