Even Stevens, a sandwich chain with six locations throughout Arizona, is equally philanthropic as it is delicious.
The sandwich sensation that’s won over the Southwest with fresh, mouthwatering fare is more than your run-of-the-mill deli. For every sandwich purchased, a sandwich is donated to a non profit, totaling almost 1.5 million sandwiches donated thus far.
The menu features a broad spectrum of brunch and lunch options, each as explosively flavorful as the last.
One would be remiss not to sample all 11 varieties of subs offered at Even Stevens as the particular assortment of ingredients makes each a distinctly different dining experience– from the Cuban inspired Mihami Vice to the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich.
Other favorites include the Pot Roast Dip sandwich, filled with succulent turkey pot roast, swiss cheese, red onion, jalapeño jelly in a buttery baguette and served with an au jus dipping sauce.
The Do Gouda sandwich is loaded with tender roast beef, smoked gouda, sweet onion marmalade, red onion and greens in a tangy sourdough baguette.
Although the shop specializes in sandwiches, there is no substitution for Even Steven’s breakfast selections, which are highly underrated.
In addition to indulgent favorites such as breakfast burritos and french toast, the shop’s seemingly simple Breakfast Sandwich packs a punch with eggs, a choice of bacon, ham, sausage, avocado or pork belly, maple glaze and cheddar cheese on a Hawaiian bun.

Take advantage of Even Steven’s Sunday Brunch, where live music, bottomless french toast and $3 mimosas are the name of the game.
Despite the brunch special’s undeniable value at less than $4 for endless plates of brioche french toast, the slightly dry texture of the bread and lack of a complex flavor profile make this option second choice to the Undergrad Breakfast Burrito– with avocado, of course.
With such a diverse array of options, including its supreme sandwiches, fresh salads, smaller appetizers, refreshing craft beer and hearty brunch items, the hardest part is choosing only one.
Ultimately, Even Stevens is the perfect choice for an elevated sandwich or a relaxing Sunday brunch, with each bite helping to make the world a better place.
