(Phoenix, Arizona) – It’s like celebrating Christmas with your own family, only *slightly* less miserable! Get ready to laugh your butt off FRIDAY, Dec. 16 at A Dysfunctional Family Xmas featuring stand-up comics, live improv, an ugly sweater contest and more! And it’s all for a good cause because a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity! The venue: DeSoto Central Market, 915 N. Central Avenue, from 10:00pm-midnight(ish).

Hungry for hilarity? The first live improv for the night has been announced: The Light Rail Pirates present “Holiday Dinner” — a fully improvised family dinner where you pick the secrets that are unveiled at the table creating a dysfunctional occasion! Light Rail Pirates is an engaging improvisational comedy group performing longform and are a regular house team at The Torch Theatre.
*The first 20 people to buy tickets at the door ($5) will get a free beer from THAT Brewery!

Bottoms up! You’re gonna work up a sweat with all the laughing, so we”re gonna have spiked punches and DRINK SPECIALS all night long! Woo!

Wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater because the person wearing the ugliest sweater will win a prize!

DJ Mr. Phoenix will be spinning tunes all night long so get ready to get your groove on.
