
What: Duet is joining this year’s Arizona Gives Day on April 4. Since 2013, Arizona Gives Day— a statewide, 24-hour, online giving campaign—has raised $7 million for nonprofits in Arizona. To raise awareness, Duet is hosting an open house on Tuesday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the event, community members are invited to enjoy food from Bertha’s Café and Amici Catering and mix and mingle with Duet’s recognizable supporters. Attendees will also be able to make their donation on site if they choose.
Who: Duet staff and recognizable supporters will be available during the event
10 – 11 a.m.: Kathy and Bill Tabinsky, Duet Board members who are providing an Arizona Gives Day matching donation of $5,000
11 a.m. to noon: Tom Leander, broadcaster for the Phoenix Suns
Noon to 1 p.m.: Carmela Ramirez, performing artist and producer
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 4
Where: Duet, 555 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix (on the property of the Church of the Beatitudes)
