Some Velvet Morning is a provocative play that grapples with issues of misogyny and sexism with an electrifying story of obsession, desire and the roles we play. Directed by Ralph Remington, Some Velvet Morning features actors Brian Runbeck as “Fred,” Christina Denkinger as “Velvet” and guest artists Tandem Duo, an innovative duo of violin and marimba who performs an original score for the performances. Please note: Some Velvet Morning contains adult themes and language and is recommended for ages 18+
Totsy is a band that is driven by the unique vocal stylings of Beth Curry, Broadway star of Legally Blonde and Young Frankenstein, and the guitar and production work of composer/songwriter, Brett Boyett. Harkening back to the days of burlesque theater, speakeasies and light cabaret music, their music takes a quirky twist on occasion, featuring vocal percussion and emulating the sounds of instruments using only their voices.
