Cycle the Arts – A Bike Tour of Public Art

Hop on your bike and join Scottsdale Public Art and the City of Scottsdale for the 12th annual Cycle The Arts public art bicycle tour on Sunday, April 9, 2017!

In celebration of Arizona Valley Bike Month, join us for an up close look at Scottsdale Public Art’s vast public art collection on the free Cycle The Arts bike tour on Sunday, April 9 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Learn fun and interesting facts about new permanent and temporary art installations and revisit some of your old favorites along this leisurely, family-friendly ride. Some of the artists of the artworks along tour will be there to discuss their work and answer questions as well!

  • The bike tour starts and ends at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, and is guided by Scottsdale Public Art and City of Scottsdale staff.
  • Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with groups of riders departing at 9:00 a.m.
  • There will be three route options, a 5-mile ride, a 10-mile ride, and a 14-mile ride.
  • Tour times will vary with the selected route. The longest route will last approximately 2 ½ hours.

For your safety, helmets are required, and don’t forget to bring water!
