Mill about, chatting with others with your beverage, try your hand at a creative craft to bring home. Watch talented local artists paint over-sized images with spray cans, and enter to win sweet raffle items. Check out the galleries at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum, featuring work by Daniel Martin Diaz, Béatrice Coron, and Dina Goldstein — all on a beautiful fall morning.

That’s what the Creative Catalysts, a group of under-forties bringing more art, talent, and energy to the arts scene in downtown Mesa are expecting on Saturday, October 15 from 10-1pm. The event, aimed to bring a different type of audience to the Arts Center and celebrate the grounds,

Lively music will be provided by local favorite Rebecca de la Torre and regional band Corazón. Food will be provided by Mesa-based food-truck Curbside Crepes, along with samples of ‘stroopwafels’ by Where’s Waffle, a new food truck experience coming to the valley.
