Cooler Weather Brings Increased Events and Festivals to Queen Creek

As the temperatures continue to drop, the fall season is the perfect time to enjoy fun events happening throughout the community. Check on the events going on this October!

MCSO Take-Back | Oct. 22: Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) District 6 – Queen Creek is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to host a prescription drug take-back event. The take-back is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted and expired medications. The event will be held at the MCSO District 6 substation in Queen Creek., from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Located at 22308 S. Ellsworth Road.

Trunk or Treat | Oct. 22, 5 – 9 p.m., 21802 S. Ellsworth Road: Trunk or Treat provides a fun and safe Halloween experience for families to enjoy. Presented by Dignity Health, the event includes carnival games, food vendors, a zombie film festival, a horse costume contest, and the popular Trunk or Treat Street. The event will be held on Ellsworth Road north of Ocotillo Road in Town Center. VisitQueenCreek.org/TrunkorTreat for more information.

Coffee with a Cop | Oct. 29, 9-11 a.m., 18495 E. Queen Creek Road: Meet your Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) District 6 – Queen Creek deputies at Coffee with a Cop! Discuss community issues and build relationships while enjoying a cup of coffee. The event will also include festivities for the kids including McGruff the crime dog, operation Child ID fingerprinting, and lots of giveaways.
