Rio Salado Rowing Club

Since 1991, Rio Salado Rowing Club, a 501(c)3 organization, has worked to develop the sport of rowing in the Arizona desert. Based at Tempe Town Lake, our members come from all over the greater Phoenix area to enjoy rowing's many health, fitness, and social benefits.We provide recreational and competitive rowing opportunities for adults of all experience levels -- novice through world-class rowers -- as well as coaching, classes, and learn-to-row events.Rowing education is a major focus of our club. We've designed our classes so that rowers receive the individual attention to progress quickly from beginner, to rowing independently on the water. We've also partnered with area disability and community organizations to develop "Can Do Crew" -- adaptive rowing for people with functional limitations.RSRC is administered by a seven-member volunteer board of directors that meets monthly.Find out more at RowRio.org
