Cocaine Discovered in Man’s Bag at Sky Harbor Airport
Phoenix Police have arrested a man after finding more than two pounds of cocaine in his luggage.
According to Sgt. Vince Lewis, the incident occurred last Saturday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. 45-year-old Jason Bunts was taken into custody after agents with the Transportation Security Administration found 0.90 kg of cocaine inside his checked bag.
Bunts was already onboard his flight, which had to return to the gate for him to be arrested. The flight was briefly delayed before getting underway. He was booked into the Maricopa County jail on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs for sale.
