The holidays are over and it is time to clean up and get rid of your Christmas Trees before they dry out and cause a fire hazard.
The city of Scottsdale will be helping with this effort by providing tree drop off locations on Saturday, January 14, from 7 am to 2 pm. Residents can head to two locations and drop off their natural Christmas Trees. In addition to cleaning up, locals will also be lending a helping hand to the environment, as all collected trees will be turned into compost or mulch.
Please keep in mind that only natural, not artificial, trees are accepted, and that all stands, decorations, ornaments and lights must be taken off prior to drop off. This effort is hosted in addition to the city’s tree pickup service.
The two locations for drop-off will be Scottsdale Ranch Park (10400 E. Via Linda) or Eldorado Park (2311 N. Miller Road). If you have more questions about this service, please callĀ 480-312-5600.
