Christmas is right around the corner! Do you know what that means..? It’s time to install Christmas lights! Installing Christmas lights can be dangerous, which is why many people hire Christmas light installation companies. Unfortunately, not all of these companies can be trusted and most provide no transparency into how they calculate quotes.

Lumineso is a Christmas light installation startup that was founded by three Arizona State University graduates eager to change the current state of the industry. The trio created a method of providing potential customers with an online instant estimate of the cost to install lights on their home.

The estimate asks for some basic information about the potential customer’s house. It also asks about the type of lighting they wants (i.e mini lights, big bulbs, icicles, etc.). After submitting the information, the potential customer will instantly receive an email with an estimate for the total cost of their lights, installation, maintenance, and removal from Lumineso. If they are happy with the price, they can hire Lumineso to install their lights, or can shop around and at least have some idea on how much an installation should cost.

In addition to Lumineso’s instant estimate that provides price transparency to the Christmas light installation industry, they also built a charity component into their business. Lumineso has partnered with Make-A-Wish Arizona and will be donating 10% of all installation costs to help grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in Arizona.

Lumineso is also hosting a giveaway that will begin November 1st and end November 30th. They will be giving away a free Christmas light installation for anyone living in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, two Christmas laser light projectors, and two Christmas yard inflatables. The giveaway will be held on their website and various social media channels.
