Desert Ice Skating Rink provides skaters the opportunity to experience a classic winter tradition surrounded by the beauty of the desert and starry night sky, along with magical rinkside snowfalls nightly. New for 2016! Enchanted Plaza Shows
Don’t miss this five-minute long, high-definition, one-of-a-kind video show featuring the story of “The Night Before Christmas” projected against the resort’s facade. The resort’s Christmas tree has 70,000 LED lights that twinkle and dance to 17 classic holiday songs in the Enchanted Plaza. During the day, this stunning four-story tree is decorated with dozens of glistening snowflakes and a five-foot snowflake tree topper.

Travel through La Hacienda Plaza to a magical and merry land. Join our newest friend Graham at his home where you can roast marshmallows around an enchanting campfire in a Christmas tree forest, take a glittering whirl on the Christmas carousel and Ferris wheel, and don’t forget to say hello to Shivers the Yeti before sliding down our newest frozen attraction, the four-lane Polar Glide slide made of real ice! New holiday friends checking-in are the lovely Princess Angelica, a huggable yeti named Shivers and the squishable Graham, a walking s’more. All will join the resort’s other Christmas characters: Peppermint Penguin, Selfie Elfie and Princess Noel, each bringing their own special charm from the North Pole.
Lagoon Lights
Enjoy more than 3 million LED lights as you stroll or ride the Princess Express train through the resort’s majestic lagoons. Displays include swans floating on the water, a buccaneer pirate ship, a mermaid, 14-foot poinsettias, a teddy bear, toy soldiers, a fishing Santa, leaping arches mimicking a water show, Nessie the 30-foot Loch Ness Monster, menorah, dreidels, a 3D whale, five skating penguins, a candy cane forest and more.
Kringle’s Korner & Holiday Shopping
Kringle’s Korner Holiday Shoppe offers wintery wear, seasonal decor, collectible ornaments, snow globes, train whistles, Selfie Elfie and Elf on the Shelf toys, gourmet chocolates and more. Do your holiday shopping at the resort’s boutiques where the ‘Top Five Must Have Gifts’ for men can be found at Maverick, and for ladies at Anna J women’s boutique. Princess Express & Nativity Garden
Hitch a ride on the Princess Express offering rides around the resort’s lagoons to spectators of all ages. Access to Princess Express Trains available with wristband.
Make sure to stop in the Nativity Garden, where guests are welcome to take a moment to reflect on the meaning of Christmas through an 88-foot narrated light and music show. Seating provided for the 10-minute program.
