Casey McGinley was recently appointed to serve as a judge to the Pima County Superior Court in Tucson.
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey announced his decision to fill the vacancy left by Judge Richard Fields’ retirement. McGinley will transition into his new role from his previous position as a full-time judge pro tempore for the court. In this capacity, he presided over criminal cases and served as an appellate judge in appeal cases from limited jurisdiction courts within Pima County. McGinley was also a judge for the drug treatment program, an alternative to prison sentences, and the restitution court.
