
An upcoming business conference in Page aims to set the region up for more success in the future.
The 89Forward Conference is set for Monday and Tuesday, May 21 and 22, at the Courtyard by Marriott (600 Clubhouse Drive) in Page. There, current, past and future business owners, managers and employees will share their stories and brainstorm ideas for a brighter future in Canyon Country.
Presented by The Chamber of Page and Lake Powell, along with Coconino Community College and the City of Page, this event aims to inspire and influence entrepreneurs, business-people, future leaders and more.
There will be three special session tracts covering the topics of Building Your Business,
Innovation & Planning, and Workforce. Featured speakers include Matt Brown, Director of Special Projects and Economic Development in Kanab, Kane County, Utah, as well as Key Leum, who serves as Director of Special Projects & Grants at CCC.
There is a $45 conference fee per participant, and students are encouraged to contact the Chamber to register at no cost.
