The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum has been hard at work this past summer, planning and organizing. Just last week, the museum opened a brand new visitor center, appealing to tourists and locals alike and presenting Bisbee in an entirely new way.
Now, the museum has also arranged for a special event locals are sure to enjoy-an evening with Bob Vint, architect and historic preservation specialist. Vint works in Tucson but is passionate about Bisbee architecture and the beauty of the old West. Join the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum on Saturday, September 24th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the historic Star Chevrolet Building in Lowell. There will be delicious food and desserts by High Desert Market & Cafe and the Calumet & Arizona Guesthouse. This annual dinner will celebrate the beautiful buildings of Bisbee that are incomparable to any other Western city. For more information and to purchase tickets call the Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum at (520) 432-7071.
