For those of you who haven’t gotten to meet me in person, I am one of the producers working on the film about the deportation. We’ve had the honor of getting to know each other pretty well in the eight months that we’ve been filming – and I’m so excited to be sharing some news about our film.

We’re starting our big call for extras for the days where we’re staging our largest recreations, on July 12th (for the downtown round-up / march past the mines) and July 16th (at the Warren Ball Park). We’re hoping to have hundreds of extras to attempt to match the size and scale of the historic photos of the event – we truly cannot have too many people!

You’ll be seeing our fliers up in town and on various Bisbee Facebook groups / local newspaper ads / etc – but please feel free to share this info with your family, friends, and networks. It’s going to be a great couple of days and we’d like to encourage as many people as possible to come participate!

I will be sending weekly reminders for extras as we get closer to the event – apologies in advance if you hear from me a couple of times 🙂 but we are excited to be connected with folks as passionate about the Deportation as we are.
