Beauty of Bisbee, AZ written by Chaurice Cargen
My husband and I have had the joy of staying in Bisbee twice, now. Our first visit, we stayed at the Oliver House (the owner was a lovely lady and very personable) and The LaMore Inn (the gentleman at the desk offered suggestions on where to eat and places to go). We took the ghost tour (we take our paranormal equipment everywhere we go) and the mine tour (HIGHLY recommend both).
We last stayed at the Cooper Queen for our Anniversary last April. Our waiter was a lot of fun too! I even tried the Bisbee special beer! It was the most relaxing and wonderful weekend we had. The hotel is beautiful and the people were all friendly. The owners we a lot of fun and liked to joke which was nice to see. What made the stay perfect was sitting outside and feeling the light breeze as dusk came over town. I fell in love with Bisbee and did not want to leave. Later that night, we sat on the porch of the hotel and looked out over the town. The moon was full and bright. Bisbee was shining in original glory. It made my soul smile. I felt like I was home.
