Who loves cocktails?!
Make sure you mark your calendars for an upcoming event you don’t want to miss. Six local businesses have teamed up to host an exciting bartender competition on Sunday, September 30th. From 2 PM to 4 PM, Root Public House will come alive with plenty of bartenders and enthusiastic cocktail testers!
This event will see Flagstaff’s top cocktail bars will compete against each other to determine the best bartender in town, once and for all! Each establishment will send their top bartender as a representative, and the contestants will battle it out in hopes of taking home the winning feeling and a lovely cash prize.
Canyon Diablo Distillery, Shift, The McMillan, The Garden Thrift and more are all involved. Root Public House has graciously bowed out of the competition to host the event on their fabulous rooftop and assist with judging. Canyon Diablo Distillery is the event’s main sponsor and will supply exclusive spirits for the mixing and tasting.
Every age 21 and older is welcome to join in the fun by tasting the cocktails and voting for their favorite. Tickets will cost $25 for 5 handmade cocktails, with one from each contender. Tickets can be purchased on the day of at the door.
Contestants will enjoy multiple opportunities to win, with a cash prize going to the best overall! Proceeds will benefit local non-profit Over the Rainbow Butterfly Garden; which establishes scholarships for children with disabilities.
